Peak Oil

INVESTOR’s SUDDEN PREDICAMENT

The growth of the United States economy is built on a key assumption- the energy will always be cheap and abundant. Unless we think oil is renewable energy, this basic assumption is fundamentally flawed.

According to world leading experts the world oil production peaked in year 2005 and soon it may begin it’s irreversible decline. These are not speculations! My arguments are based on undeniable research by leading world expertsL:King Hubbart, Professor Deffeyes, Dr. Bakhtiari, Dr. Collin Cambel, Matt Simmons and many more.

Oil is the life blood of our economy and any disruption in world oil supplies can send shock waves through our economy far beyond the gas pumps. United States uses 25% of the world oil supplies while only holding 2% of the world reserves.

The impending global oil shortage will have adverse effects on our most vital industries including transportation, agriculture, food manufacturing, machinery manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, clothing, mining, construction, and financial.

We should accept the new reality that the era of “cheap oil” is a thing of the past and the new era of “peak oil” will emerge and stay. The current low demand for energy is only temporary and has masked a fundamental problem. We are finding 1-2 barrel of oil for every 5-6 barrels we use! Once the economy recovers we will probably see the oil prices at unimaginable new record high.
